  1. What a disaster! If you have your accounts in the “Books sent to Accountant” state, you cannot get back into your files when you complete the reboot after this software upgrade. Some hours later (and my tip for a partial solution is to do a safe mode system restore) I still cannot back up my recovered file.

  3. Same problem here. I can do without Microsoft’s automatic “upgrade” I also had to do a system restore in Vista and now have automatic updates disabled. I heard they were no longer supporting MS Accounting 2009. I was planning to check out other accounting software anyway, but my cc processing is through MS Accounting. This will send me screaming for Quickbooks. Anyone know of a fix for this?
