This update will not install on my computer at all. I keep getting a 8007371B error that even Microsoft can't identify. And most weirdly I can't install IE8 now. I have even downloaded update KB955430 and tried to manually install it, but to no avail. It's giving me a headache usually associated with annoying software. I just want this problem solved so that I can see what IE8 is like, and see if it's faster then Chrome.

:Russell: If you hear anything about a fix, could you please post it hear... cheers mate!

Can I download Explorer 8 over Explorer 6 or do I have to download the biggest pita (Explorer 7) before 8.0. Any ideas would be great. I run a Voodoo PC with Vista Ultimate. Again, thanks, and if you need any other info I'll provide it.
Sincerely,
Nanette
