Had exactly the same problem.  Dis-installed it, problem solved.  You need to go into control panel/windows updates and find this and uninstall it from there.  Then hide the update and never, ever install it again!]]></description>

Since downloading we both opened Explorer and then our desktop icons stopped working.  We can initiate programs from the Start menu but not desktop.  Are others having this problem, how to correct.
