This is a great presentation. Are there any more detailed instructions I can download for the PPT?
Thanks

@rob,
I also agree. This is a wonderful presentation and it seems to be exactly what I’m looking for. Have you received any details on how to create this site?

@Beth,
Microsoft released a bunch of Sharepoint templates you can use with Sharepoint 3.0 – http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsserver/sharepoint/bb407286.aspx
Specifically they have one for a helpdesk. Although it’s not as robust if you were to create one manually using Sharepoint and Infopath, it should give you a few good ideas: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=CE90D6D7-7B96-47BF-A22F-A7E8C5D40647&displaylang=en

@MrGroove,
I actually downloaded the helpdesk template a month or so ago. You can not customize it at all. They have everything locked down. I played around with it for a few weeks and gave up. It doesn’t have everything I’m looking for and I can’t change it to what I need. Thanks for the info though!
It’s a shame that I can’t find any more info on this powerpoint. It’s wonderful! I’m trying to recreate my own version of it now. It’s going OK, but I can’t yet figure out how they did some things. I’ll share with everyone when mine is complete.

I have tried for weeks to set this up and have had no luck. Has anyone else received a step by step setup on this?

@Jacen,
I got it working about a year ago in my test environment. It does work you just need to make sure you import all the templates properly and your install of sharepoint meets all the minimum requirements. Perhaps Beth above can give you some pointers?

@MrGroove,
I think the template you are talking about is different from the PPT. that we are referring to.

This HelpDesk on the PowerPoint slideshow is what i am looking for. I Could do with some more help. I can’t read or work out a couple of functions: the ‘Priority’ rule and ‘Create New Request’ rule.
Any walkthrough or help would be greatly appreciated.
